Guten Haben! Good Evening! It's Almost eleven o'clock and the first oppurtunity we have had to 'blog'! A novelelty only discovered this week and explained by our newest member of the caplor team Mike Simmons.
In case you have just stumbled here, in brief Myself (Paul Hollingsworth - Operations Manager) and Stephen Kessler ( Installations Team Leader) are visiting various renewable sites/manufacturers in Germany with intention of broadening our knowledge of the European market with a special emphasis on solar photovoltaics.
The journey so far has been great albeit a few mishaps with a left hand drive car and German satnav (i'm sure our colleagues will not be surprised). Flying from Birmingham International Airport we landed in Frankfurt with a short two hour drive to Kassel a city in the North of Hesse. The first observation and with great excitment was the number of pholtovoltaic arrays and wind turbines .......... 100 installations must have been passed in the first 50km! Needless to say the UK has a long way to catch up with our German friends.
